Love the video. I've had my 1989 CRX 1.6i 16v for 32 years now. I love my CRX she is pretty much standard has done 135,000 miles and is still on her original clutch and gearbox. I had her bare metal restored five years ago as I am in England and live by the sea. The car still turns heads and is a joy to drive.

I have the same car but I stopped driving on sport. The more i drove on eco and turbo, the more I was ruining my engine. I ended up replacing my engine. Once I started driving it on regular, I was driving so well for months. A few times a decided to drive on eco for a while and something went wrong again. I may be ignorant but i know my car well. It's never been the same even with new engine.

Enjoyed the video, but not as much as I love my 89 DX. Autocrossed for about 10 years. Dropped some weight out of her, (1985 lbs with 1/2 tank of gas) braided brake lines, DC rear strut bar, Tokico shocks, Skunk 2 springs, and a 91 D16a6. Have had her going on 29 years. Daily fun!!!

My 2022 ST in stone blue, turns heads everywhere. Its fast, tight, and great value. 400 hp suv, lux interior, spacious. Zero to 60 sub 5 seconds. Corners like a cat on Velcro. Sticks to the road like gum to a chesterfield.

Great video and appreciate you sharing it! A red 1988 Honda CRX was the first new car I purchased and loved it. I wish I'd held onto it longer. It was interesting to hear you refer to it as a pocket rocket because that's how one review of it I'd read back in '88 described it to. And it was indeed! Just a very well made and fun car and watching this brought back the nostalgic feeling you mentioned. Thank you!

I've got the cousin 2015 KIA Optima SX Turbo stll with that 70 lb/ft of torque & 274 HP The 2016-2020 models got a downgrade in design in my opinion in addition to the drop in power. Still, GOOD STUFF! Underrated vehicles

3 years late to the party, but we're down to these two vehicles. I love the Acura and think the Blazer is ok. But my wife loves the Blazer and thinks the Acura is ok. She's going to be the one driving it, so I guess I know how we're going. Both look good in their own way. To her, the much simpler infotainment system, a traditional shifter, the rearview camera, and the 360 cameras sold it. For me, it's the more plush and upscale interior, better performer, sleeker looking, and reliability of the Acura that does it. Im not totally crazy about Acura's infotainment system, but Im really good at adapting and Im sure that I would be used to it in no time. I think Acura tries too hard to be different here. I really think had they had a more traditional and familiar system, we might be going Acura.

Which one of you in the factory failed to tension the clamp on my ST's engine oil cooler return line?? Hose blew off at 900km and I almost lost all my coolant! Could of cost me (well Ford actually) an engine!!

The inconsistent power I noticed is when you drive your cars computer adapts to your driving habits so I kept mine in eco for a week and when I put it in sport for the first time after filling up it took longer than usual to hit 60 im talking 10 seconds, I’ve been launching and just changed my oil trying to circulate and yknow break the oil in and I was hitting 60 in 5 seconds in talking about I felt two, maybe three gear shifts and I was at 60+ mph even putting it in eco it would take off at the light but after driving it like an old person again it went back to taking its time to reach even 40. So the inconsistency I feel is a convenience thing or a fuel economy thing I’m sure if you were to get the right racing tune it would be as fast every single time but your fuel economy would suffer and I’m sure you’d put a lot more wear on the engine and components doing so. I love and I hate it.

The car is beautiful. I owned a 88 CRX-HF; absolutely loved it. I drove it through the bending, rollercoaster backroads of the Ozarks and its double wishbone suspension and short wheel base sucked up and held the car to the road. I've never driven anything like it. I had it for 8 years. I bought a Miata shortly after that. It was a wildly intoxicating car too, but after a year or so, I was tired of all the feed back the car sent up to the driver. So, the CRX was the best car because the way it handled and the precision of the manual gears. It had enough isolation, but its road holding ability was just awesome. Congratulations on having one in stock condition. The amazing thing is, it doesn't look all that dated even after 30 years.
